Lt Kevin Armbruster had retired from the Milwaukee Police Department after 30 years and currently in charge of investigations with the Town of East Troy PD, WI. Lt Armbruster is currently assisting the DOJ-Bureau of Justice Assistance, OJP, OVC and National Policing Institute as a consultant. Lt Armbruster is working with 43 cities across the US, conducting site assessments to implement best practices for violent crime reduction techniques, organizational change and improved community engagement practices within the cities. Lt Armbruster has also presented throughout the US and Internationally on Violent Crime Reduction Techniques, Victim/Witness Cooperation, Use of Technology and Community Engagement/Outreach by LE.
Lt Armbruster has 29 years in investigations working homicide, organized crime, supervising the ATF, FBI and US Secret Service Task Forces, Fusion Center and Bomb Squad Commander. Lt Armbruster also has created and led the operational units of the nationally recognized Milwaukee PD (NIBIN) program to combat violent crime in the area.
