Brian Ohlin is currently the Chief of Police for the City of Brunswick Ohio. He began his 33-year career in law enforcement as a Police Officer at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he obtained his BA in Public Administration. He then worked as a Police Officer for the City of Centerville Ohio in the Dayton metro area. He is a Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) in the State of Ohio. He has worked in the Patrol Bureau as an officer and a supervisor, the Traffic Unit as an officer and a supervisor and in special units as an Evidence Technician and a Crisis Negotiator. He was a Lieutenant in charge of operations prior to being promoted to Chief of Police. He currently serves on various boards throughout northeast Ohio including as the Immediate Past President of the Medina County Police Chiefs Association.
