Sgt Scott A. Bryant is a 28-year veteran of the Maine State Police Department. Throughout his career, he has held assignments within Troop D and spent 13 years in the Major Crimes Unit. Prior to service with the Maine State Police Department, he served 3 ½ years as a Prison Guard at the Maine State Prison and served as a Law Enforcement Specialist with the United States Air Force.
Sgt. Bryant is a 22-year member of the Maine State Police Evidence Response Team (ERT). In 2016, Sgt. Bryant was promoted to Commander of the Maine State Police ERT. During his assignment with the ERT, Sgt Bryant has been responsible for processing homicide scenes and assisting the Maine Attorney General’s Office with officer involved shooting incidents.
Sgt Bryant is a certified Faro Laser Scanner Operator and holds a FAA Part 107 license as a remote pilot for unmanned aircraft systems.
