Senior Director, Global Investigations, Crimes Against the Business

Claire Rushton is from Staffordshire, England. She attended Liverpool University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology and then a few years later, Leicester University, where she earned a master’s degree in security and risk management. As a person with a desire to catch criminals, Claire joined the police service and then had the opportunity to join Safeway supermarkets as an investigator. After Safeway she worked within the major UK retailers; Marks and Spencer’s, Sainsbury’s and then Asda, focused on loss prevention, security and/or investigations.
Within Asda, Claire led the Operational Security team which encompassed, investigations, security, business continuity and executive protection. In 2017, Claire moved to NW Arkansas to lead the Crimes Against the Business team within Walmart's Global Investigations family. The CAB team investigate organized retail crime, cyber and ecommerce crimes, as well as insurance fraud and crimes as connected to controlled substances.
Residing in NW Arkansas, Claire loves cycling and travelling, which sometimes occur together! She is also a big Formula 1 and Liverpool football/soccer fan.
