Director of Intelligence of the Federal Police of Brazil and, as such, is at the head of the doctrinal direction, technical supervision and control of actions and operations related to the Federal Police's activities, as well as the planning and execution of counterintelligence and antiterrorism operations.
He has been worked at Federal Police as a Police Chief and investigator for 21 years. He also served as Intelligence Director for major events in Brazil, acting in coordinating the development of intelligence activities for the benefit of public in the Soccer World Cub and World Olympic Games held in Brazil. He also worked as Liaison Officer at the Eldorado Task Force of the Homeland Security Investigation in investigations related to financial fraud, money laundering and other crimes with repercussions in the US and in Brazil.
He has a law degree and is Post-Graduate Lato Sensu in State Intelligence and Public Security Intelligence, Post-Graduate Lato Sensu in Public Law.
He is a professor of Operational Planning at the Brazilian Federal Police Academy and worked on the preparation of the first operational planning manual for the Brazilian Federal Police.
