Duaa Randhawa has been a part of the Research Development and Online Education team at Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities since 2020. She has been leading AIPG's programming with US Law Enforcement called Redefining Policing to Affirm and Instill Human Rights (REPAIR) since it was piloted as an online course and has overseen its growth to a multi-component program with participation from over 30 departments across the nation and over 1,400 officer having successfully completed the course. Duaa received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College before acting as a Visiting Scholar in Refugee Studies and International and Diaspora Development at the University of Oxford. In 2020, she graduated from Cornell University with a Master’s degree in Global Development. Her research involved the study of alternative political asylum regimes and their effects on refugee livelihoods. Additionally she has worked with an array of nonprofits and community organizations with a focus on providing services to underserved and diaspora communities.
