Caridad Mas-Batchelor is a Special Projects Administrator for Miami-Dade Police Department's Media Relations Section under the Office of the Director. In this position, Mrs. Mas-Batchelor manages projects with internal and external partners to enhance public relations within Miami-Dade County and MDPD. During large scale events/crisis, Mrs. Mas-Batchelor is heavily involved with the Public Informaiton Officers to assist in a variety of functions to ensure efficient and accurate informaiton to the community. She works collaboratively with partners and key stakeholders nationally and within her community to ensure access to human trafficking awareness and resources. Previously, she served as the Task Force Coordinator for the federally funded South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force. Additionally, she served as a Task Force Personnel with Homeland Security Investigations Miami Office, Human Trafficking Group, as a liaison between law enforcement. Mrs. Mas-Batchelor holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and a Master’s in Law in Intercultural Human Rights from St. Thomas University School of Law.
