Victim Services Coordinator

Whitney Allen is the Victim Services Coordinator for the Tulsa Police Department. She was brought on board to establish the Victim Services Unit from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on providing culturally appropriate, trauma informed services to the citizens of Tulsa. Along with starting a successful Victim Services Unit, Ms. Allen has developed a strong network of community partners to support the Tulsa Police Department in their mission to better serve crime victims and the citizens of Tulsa. Ms. Allen is a retired Sergeant from the Tulsa Police Department where she served the citizens of Tulsa in a variety of assignments, most notably as the Sergeant overseeing the Child Crisis Unit, which is part of a multidisciplinary team at the Children's Justice Center. Ms. Allen was able to bring her unique experience as a law enforcement supervisor and participant in a multidisciplinary team to her role as a non-sworn supervisor to the Tulsa Police Department's Victim Services Unit. Ms. Allen has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and was awarded the Governor’s Commendation for the State of Oklahoma in recognition of her work with crime victims and their families.
