EVA VELASQUEZ is the President/CEO of the Identity Theft Resource Center. Eva previously served as the Vice President of Operations for the San Diego Better Business Bureau and for 21 years at the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. She is a recognized expert who has been featured on numerous media outlets. Eva is a recipient of the National Crime Victim Service Award from the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Consumer League’s Florence Kelley Consumer Leadership Award. Eva has also taken part in briefing events for the FTC, CFPB, IRS, DHS, PRAC, DoL and the U.S. House of Representatives.
RANDY LAWRENCE is the Outreach Coordinator for the Identity Theft Resouce Center and a retired 30-year law enforcement professional. Randy is a cyber-crime expert, and a trained computer forensic examiner, specializing in identity theft. Randy served at the San Diego District Attorney's Office, SDSU, and as Chief of Human Law Enforcement. He has trained hundreds of civilians and law enforcement officers on a variety of topics. Randy regularly provides training and gives presentations on Identity Theft/Fraud and current scams and secondary victimization risks.
