International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP)
Dana Bonnell is a Project Manager in the Programs Division of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. At the IACP, she has worked on projects related to enhancing police response and interactions with individuals with mental health conditions, IDD, and dementia. Additionally, Ms. Bonnell has worked on projects related to gender-based violence, substance use, and officer safety and wellness.
Prior to joining the IACP, Ms. Bonnell worked as an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team manager for Pathways to Housing DC. There, Ms. Bonnell coordinated a multidisciplinary team to provide intensive and holistic care in a community setting for individuals with severe mental health conditions or co-occurring IDD diagnoses with a history of chronic homelessness.
Dana completed her Master’s Degree in Justice and Public Policy from American University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT.
