In just three years, from January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2022, NCMEC received more than 700 missing children reports from 47 states involving online enticement. This crime occurs on all types of platforms, reaching children wherever they may live in the United States, so it is important to be aware of the unique aspects of these cases.
