Cybersecurity/Privacy Consultant Shadow Element Washington, District of Columbia, United States
The security devices people trust to secure their possessions and protect their spaces are often vulnerable, implemented incorrectly, or not as secure as they could be. This course demonstrates the vulnerabilities of everyday locks, keys, doors at, commercial and residential spaces. Through example and application, attendees will learn how to mitigate these vulnerabilities, protect themselves and their physical assets, and be safer at home and in their workplace. Simple, easy, and inexpensive fixes to address these issues will be highlighted and presented throughout the course. Three takeaways are {1) understanding physical vulnerabilities; {2} how to mitigate the vulnerabilities presented; and (3) awareness of secure facility models.
