Crisis Negotiations Coordinator Federal Bureau of Investigation, Southern District of California
The audience will follow a case study of a “Bonnie and Clyde” violent two-month crime spree resulting in multiple shootings with law enforcement and a hostage barricade ending. The case study will include video and audio of the final incident and negotiations during the barricade incident. Issues discussed will include the evolving critical information examined by the incident commanders and the method used to construct tactical decisions as the event unfolded over 10 hours. Additionally, the facilitator will introduce critical safety takeaways for future tactical concerns and circumstances.
