Alexandra Nigolian

Alexandra has been the Executive Director of the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD) Foundation since 2011. She joined the NCPD Foundation after three years serving as Executive Director of the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation, where she worked to provide financial support to the children of those killed in the line of duty.

Prior to her nonprofit work, Alexandra was the campaign manager for a New York State Senate race in 2008, served as Deputy Director of Press Advance for the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee, and was an Associate at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, a strategic corporate communications firm in Manhattan.
Alexandra holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and Non-profit Management from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Government from Manhattan College. She is the Chairwoman of the Police Foundations section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police where she lectures nationally on non-profit management, foundation best practices and fundraising. In 2021 she was recognized by Long Island Business News as one of the 25 most powerful women in Long Island.
