Adrian J. Wiggins was named director of Campus Public Safety at Stockton University on May 29, 2018. Before Stockton, Director Wiggins was the executive director of Campus Safety and Public Safety at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD from August 2012 through June 2018. Prior to this, he began at Morgan State in 2005 as the Chief of Police. Before Morgan State, Director Wiggins began his law enforcement career in 1994 as a sworn officer with the City University of New York (CUNY) Public Safety Department, advancing through the sworn ranks to deputy director of Public Safety. While serving with CUNY, Wiggins was a first responder who assisted New York City during the 9/11 attacks.
Director Wiggins holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from York College - CUNY, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Security Assessment and Management, and a Master of Science Degree in Integrated Homeland Security Management from Towson University. Wiggins is a graduate of the National Emergency Management Advanced Academy in Emmitsburg, MD. Mr. Wiggins is currently a doctoral candidate at Stockton University Organizational Leadership.
