Giorgi Grigalashvili is a former Chief of the Patrol Police Department in Georgia (PPD)(national department) , and he served in police for 8 years from the outset of police reform in Georgia. He supervised the whole reform process maintained for PPD, border control checkpoints, and forensic experts. 2015–2016, he served as Chief of the Internal Security Department(General Inspection) of the National Police of Ukraine, and he participated in drafting the new Law of Ukraine on National Police, promulgated in July 2015; developed SOPs, manuals, guidelines, and methodologies, and participating in recruitment and other processes for the operation of the PP and its units. Since 2016, Giorgi has served as a General Police Adviser for the ICITAP program in Ukraine. He supervises and develops a variety of police reform projects, including methodological support, teaching, and conducting different trainings for the implementation of solutions related to NPU reform. 2020–2022, Giorgi also participated in the development of the curriculum for scenario-based trainings for Armenian patrol police officers and has given a range of different trainings there.
