Robert Sobo, M.Ed., Psy.D.
Dr Robert Sobo has his master's degree in education and a doctorate in clinical psychology. He has a background in neuropsychology and began his career as a neuropsychologist specializing in organic brain dysfunction, head trauma, stroke, and rehabilitation at New Yrok University Medical Center. Dr. Sobo serves as a consultant to various government agencies and has served as a national trainer for the OJJDP and the National Discticts Attorney's Association. Dr. Sobo has been with the Chicago Police Department for over 20 years and is currently the Director of the Professional Counseling Service/EAP. During his career with CPD, he has introduced and developed their trauma program (TISMP), and has been an integral part of the development of their clinical, drug and alcohol, peer support, and trauma services. Dr. Sobo provides education and training to a number of different institutions including Northwestern University, Valor, IACP, and other international law enfocement departments.
