Matthew Ludwig was an Army Intelligence Analyst prior to joining Customs and Border Protection. He has an AAS in Intelligence Operations Studies from Cochise College, a BA in International Relations, a MA in Organizational Management, and a MA in Criminal Intelligence Analysis from American Military University. He is currently assigned to the CBP Office of Intelligence’s Arizona Regional Intelligence Center, providing analysis on threat finance, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism. He is also assigned as a Task Force Officer to Homeland Security Investigations, where he provides cryptocurrency tracing analysis and investigative support. He was recently selected as a 2022 HSI TFO of the Year for combating cyber-financial crimes and fraud.
