Andrew Hochstetler is Professor at Iowa State University in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. He has more than 100 publications and has studied criminal decision-making, drug use and recidivism. He often implements mixed method designs to do so. In recent years, he has focused on grant projects in rural, heavily drug damaged areas and feasible designs in rural communities to curb the threat by both police and public health professionals.
