Twenty years of Law Enforcement experience. Began career as a police officer in Wichita, Kansas in 2003, with the Wichita Police Department. Served as patrol officer, crime suppression team officer, gang intelligence officer and Detective with Exploited and Missing Children Unit (EMCU). Multi-court qualified expert in Mid-west criminal street gangs. Since 2015, I have been with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in the San Diego Field Office as both a Special Agent and currently a Supervisory Special Agent.
During my time as both a local LEO and a Federal Agent, I have conducted hundreds of hours of investigative surveillances, interviews, and interrogations of suspects. I have cultivated and maintained numerous confidential informants. Court qualified firearms expert. Since 2015, I have acted as case agent and / or supervised numerous investigations focused on Privately Made Firearms (PMF). Additionally, I have provided training on the subject of PMFs to multiple audiences of LEO.
