Laura Cook is a Program Manager with National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) responsible for coordinating work on training and technical assistance projects in the areas of human trafficking, financial exploitation, and abuse of older adults. In this role, she primarily conducts research, consults with subject matter experts, assists with curriculum development, and presents training seminars. Laura has conducted many live trainings, conference workshops, and webinars on various aspects of financial fraud, exploitation, and trauma-informed responses. She currently oversees a project that trains law enforcement on victim-centered responses to transnational elder fraud. She also manages NW3C’s TraffickSTOP (Signs to Observe and Prevent), an extracurricular program teaches students about identifying and preventing human trafficking. In addition, Laura facilitates NW3C’s Targeting Investment Fraud course.
