Tracy emphasizes the critical importance of enhancing police culture and internal customer service within the profession of law enforcement. He firmly believes that fostering stronger relationships with communities’ hinges on improving police practices from within.
He has been with the Meridian Police Department for twenty-seven (27) years, where he worked his way up through the ranks to the position of Chief in January of 2021. His career trajectory reflects his relentless drive to make a positive impact.
Tracy holds a BS in History/Secondary Education from Boise State University; is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command as well as the FBI National Academy Class 272. He is also a force options instructor for Gulla’s Arrestling and a task force member with USA Judo’s Police Professional Program (P3). Tracy holds blackbelts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Kodokan Judo.
